Lavenham is widely regarded as England's best preserved Medieval Village and only got rediscovered after 400 years of sleep just a few years back.

When I was first looking for a suitable place to create my holiday cottages it soon became clear that they should be close to this wonderful treasure.

The village is stacked with beautiful Houses, good pubs, restaurants, antique shops, Art Galleries and of course the wonderful National Trust Guildhall Museum and Little Hall; which is also open to the public.

Lavenham plays host to a number of fun events like the classic car show, carnival, farmers markets and so on and here are some photos I took in June for one of its regular 'French market' days which take place in the Market Place where 'Witch-Finder General was filmed.

We now have 3 fabulous cottages in Lavenham just 80 yards down a quiet side street from this lovely house which is Little Hall and open to the public.
