Classic yachts on the River Orwell

I just came across this great club, it has REAL yachts, the kind that nobody can afford any more because of all the woodwork !

And the great thing is that they sail out of Woolverstone which is around the corner from Pin Mill on The Orwell Estuary - Getting to Pin Mill is easy for all my cottages and a lovely place to explore.

Sailing trips from as short as a Half day can be arranged on a beautiful classic yacht through the Classic Sailing Club.

You do not need any experience, as qualified skippers are on board and if you have children under 12 – they go FREE.

The yachts leave from Woolverstone Marina, which is located on the Shotley Road out of Ipswich. (this is about 25 mins from The Old Grove Farm and just 2 minutes from Charlies Cottage)

The Club is currently running a special offer – at least 2 adults in the party = a free £25 meal ticket at the Butt and Oyster pub in Pin Mill (this will be your all time favourite pub)
