They were taken 10 May 2006 - we just put the amazing 1500 mm telescope in and are testing an even closer lens.

This is a wonderful place for a couple who want peace and quiet as it is in its own meadow with a small stream running through it.

And if you are a doggie then you are in heaven here ! The meadow, the fabulous walks in all directions and a great pub at the top of the hill to beg scraps from an outstanding kitchen.

The Pump House

We have just taken on this great place close to Stoke by Nayland

It is in the most idyllic and tranquil position and just a short walk from some of the best gastro pubs in Suffolk.

The Pump House is situated in its own meadow and the complete peace and tranquility of the surrounding nature can be enjoyed through the creation of a special `Inside Out' room with marvelous panoramic views on 3 sides.

The Pump House is a very imaginative conversion of a Frank Lloyd Wright style Water Pumping Station and sleeps a couple. It also has a guest area for a further 2 people if required but this is not ideal for children under 8 as the access is by ladder/staircase, so we would prefer not to take small children or additional guests who are wobbly..

Following the owners strong beliefs in Ecologically friendly solutions to living needs, it uses heat gathered from the meadow with a Geo-Thermal Heat Pump system, which provides wonderfully cosy under floor heating and there is also a Reed Bed system installed for the total recycling of all waste water.

The walks from here are the prettiest in Suffolk and lead away in all directions and invariable end up at a wonderful dog friendly pub with great food.

The night skies are so black we have installed a wonderful 1500mm telescope to look for aliens on the Moon; if you have enjoyed visiting The Crown then you may spot some.
